So does each day, rocks when they hit the bottom of a bucket, and my fist when it gets to the wall, but that doesn't make them profound.

For Kafka, that was his reality as his life most certainly stopped before he finished The Castle. World Lit 1973 SBU, Sister Phyllis-This work and Camus' The plague. Didn't get them...still don't-Holiday

It's been years and years since I read Kafka, and even at that, I only know this short story; The Metamorphosis; and In the Penal Colony. All weird, weird, weird.
